In addition to supporting the Shriners Children’s Open next week to help families in North America, company sponsors Golf Fights Cancer and GreenLight Fund events to benefit Massachusetts residents

DANVERS, Mass., September 29, 2022 – DemandScience, a global B2B data company that partners with customers to upgrade their sales pipelines, today announced it is sponsoring two events in Massachusetts on October 3rd to support important initiatives that benefit local residents and communities.

The company’s involvement in Golf Fights Cancer’s “Good Guy Invitational” will help provide assistance to cancer patients on Cape Cod, and its participation in GreenLight Fund Boston’s “Golf for Good” tournament will support programs to help high-poverty communities in the Boston area.

The events come during the same week that DemandScience is serving as a Proud Partner of the Shriners Children’s Open in Las Vegas, an official PGA TOUR event that benefits the Shriners Children’s pediatric health care system in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, which has improved the lives of more than 1.5 million children and their families over the past 100 years.

“We are an international company with customers and team members in North America, EMEA and APAC, and are proud to be active philanthropically in the communities where we live and work,” explained Peter Cannone, Chair and CEO of DemandScience. “We are honored to be partnering with wonderful non-profit organizations like Shriners Children’s, Golf Fights Cancer and the GreenLight Fund to help make a positive difference in people’s lives locally and globally.”

Golf Fights Cancer was co-founded by PGA Commissioner Jay Monahan and Brian Oates, Executive Director of Sales for the New England Patriots to raise funds for cancer-related charities and research organizations with the goal of fighting cancer and making financial contributions that can make immediate, tangible differences.

The organization’s 2022 Good Guy Invitational (GGI) golf tournament is being held at The Club at New Seabury in Mashpee, Massachusetts, and will benefit the Cape Wellness Collaborative, which provides free-of-charge integrative wellness therapies and support for people facing cancer on Cape Cod and the Islands.

The GreenLight Fund helps transform the lives of children, youth, and families in high-poverty urban areas by creating local infrastructure and a consistent annual process to identify critical needs; import innovative, entrepreneurial programs that can have a significant, measurable impact; and galvanize local support to help the programs reach and sustain impact in the new city. The 2022 Golf for Good event, a Ryder Cup-style tournament at the Weston Golf Club in Weston, Massachusetts, will support the GreenLight Fund Boston’s newest portfolio organizations.

DemandScience PGA Teaching Professional Jimmy Damiano will also be present at the Golf for Good event as part of the company’s involvement. At DemandScience’s sponsored hole, every golfer will have the opportunity to donate an additional $20 – which DemandScience will match – and in return PGA Pro Damiano will hit their drive from the tee.
