TimeXtender partnered with DemandScience in 2020 to explore innovative ways to reach a new target audience with the goal of expanding ICP and growth within the US market. The Challenge

TimeXtender faced three main challenges with lead generation, including the cost of new leads, tracking progress, and expanding into new markets.  

Cost-Per-Lead (CPL)

TimeXtender really wanted to pay attention to cost per lead (CPL). Their goal was to achieve a CPL that was acceptable, attainable, and something that would be easily approved in the finance department.

Strict privacy policies

As a Danish company, TimeXtender works in the context of strict privacy policies. Because of that, traditional marketing metrics are not captured, which can make it difficult to relate success to a specific campaign.

Expansion into the US market

TimeXtender wanted to expand and grow the US market. They were looking for ways to reach a new target audience, build the organization’s partner network, and needed quality leads to give those partners within the United States.  

The Solution

With PureSyndication, DemandScience was able to deliver high quality leads in the right ideal customer profile (ICP) 100% of the time. With the guidance and expert advice of a DemandScience Campaign Manager, TimeXtender was able to pivot and adjust by using more educational and technical content. In turn, driving the market directly to the product, rather than to a landing page. In addition, Ashley Johnson was able to work with her DemandScience Campaign Manager to determine the best metrics to measure success.

The Results

Within one-month, TimeXtender started seeing measurable results from content syndication, and its US database grew quickly. But not only did the database grow, but the new data helped to build up other campaigns. By partnering with DemandScience, TimeXtender was able to deliver 4x the number of qualified leads per month to their partner network in the United States compared to using internal campaigns via email, social media, and paid search.

TimeXtender wanted to make sure that their partners in the U.S. were happy about their leads, and 100% of the leads received from DemandScience were within the organization’s target ICP. The cost per lead for TimeXtender’s syndicated content campaign with DemandScience was 45% lower than the average cost per lead from the company’s internal social media marketing efforts using the exact same content.
